Enterprise-grade ERP, community-licensed

We engineer open business software — a catalogue of Odoo 19 modules built clean-room under LGPL-3, and Mjenga, an ERP for the construction industry.

What we build

Two programmes

One extends an established platform. The other is a ground-up product for an industry that enterprise software has largely passed over.

Odoo 19 · LGPL-3

Module catalogue

Community-licensed reimplementations of functionality normally reserved for Odoo Enterprise — accounting, planning, field service, quality, helpdesk, knowledge and more, all in the Mjenga design language.

  • 76 packages planned across 32 apps
  • Clean-room: built from public documentation and the LGPL-3 community source
  • Extends existing models rather than replacing them
In development

Mjenga

An operating system for construction: plan, procure, build, account for and hand over a project — from a single house to a highway or dam — with every shilling and every tonne traceable to the structure it built.

  • Modular monolith in Go, multi-tenant Postgres with row-level security
  • Offline-first field apps for sites without reliable connectivity
  • Planning complete — 49 modules specified across 37 architecture decisions

Approach

How we engineer

Three commitments that shape every module we ship.

Clean room

Our work is built from public documentation, observable behaviour and community-licensed source. Proprietary code is never read, copied or adapted — and every module records its references.

Inherit, never re-create

We extend what the platform already models instead of inventing parallel structures. Fewer concepts, less drift, and upgrades that survive contact with the next release.

Gated delivery

Specification, data model, design, build, browser-level verification. Nothing is considered done because it compiles — it is done when it has been exercised the way a user would.
